Woman Killed, Children Injured in Clovis Car Crash
Clovis, California: A woman died, and two children were hospitalized after a broadside collision involving a speeding driver that happened Monday afternoon in Clovis, police said.
The wreck occurred at around 4:30 p.m. at Minnewawa Avenue and International avenues near Clovis Community College.

At the same time, another woman was driving a black Honda sedan northbound on Minnewawa, approaching the same intersection.
Police said it appears the driver of the Mercedes failed to observe the stop sign and broadsided the Honda on the driver’s side.
Both vehicles went off the roadway into an open field.

Two children in the car, ages 8 and 10, were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The driver of the Mercedes suffered minor injuries.
