Woman Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident at Rosedale Highway and Rudd Avenue
Bakersfield, California – A 30-year-old woman died after being hit by a car on Tuesday morning in Bakersfield.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident around 6:30 a.m. in the area of Rosedale Highway and Rudd Avenue.
The woman was walking northbound across eastbound lanes of Rosedale Highway and was struck by a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 37-year-old Bakersfield man.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Chevrolet driver died at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
