Woman Killed in Carson Pedestrian Crash on 110 Freeway
Carson, California – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that happened on Wednesday night in Carson.
The accident was reported at around 9:32 p.m. on 110 Freeway near Carson Street off-ramp.
A woman was running across the northbound lanes of the freeway when she was struck by a semi-truck.
Police responded to the crash and found the woman lying in the middle lanes of the freeway and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The collision remains under investigation.
