Woman Killed in Clovis Crash at Gettysburg and Fowler Avenues
Clovis, California – A woman was killed and four other people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash that happened early Sunday morning in Clovis.
Police say the collision happened around 2 a.m. at Gettysburg and Fowler Avenues.
Preliminary investigation indicated that Fnu Himanshu was driving a vehicle westbound on Gettysburg and he failed to stop at a red light.
He then t-boned a silver Hyundai at an intersection.
The impact of the crash caused the two vehicles to spin out of control and hit other three vehicles parked in separate driveways of nearby homes.
A woman in the Hyundai and another person in the Hyundai were taken to hospital where the woman succumbed to her injuries.
Himanshu and two of his passengers were also hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Himanshu was placed under arrest for driving under the influence among other charges.
More details about the incident were not provided.
An investigation into the crash is underway.

Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Woman Hospitalized After Victorville Pedestrian Accident at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road
Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
