Woman Killed in Crash at Mason Avenue and Saticoy Street in Winnetka

Winnetka, California – A woman who was killed in a four-vehicle crash that happened after a police chase in Winnetka on Saturday afternoon has been identified as Cristina David, 46, of West Hills.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision happened at the intersection of Mason Avenue and Saticoy Street at around 1:32 p.m.

The chase started when officers noticed a reported stolen Mercedes SUV driven by a man in his 40s.

The suspect reportedly sped up on southbound Manson Avenue and drove straight into the intersection where he collided with a white Tesla going west on Saticoy Street.

The impact of the crash caused the Tesla to crash into two other vehicles while the stolen car overturned.

David was driving the Tesla at the time and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of the other two vehicles and the suspect were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The suspect was also arrested for vehicular homicide.

More details about the crash were not provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
