Woman Killed in Crash Involving Semi-Truck on Highway 1 in El Granada Identified
El Granada, California: A 65-year-old woman died in a traffic collision involving a big rig that happened Thursday afternoon in El Granada.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. on Highway 1 at Coral Reef Avenue.
Authorities said Cathleen Stockman was driving a sedan southbound when she collided with a northbound semi-truck trailer.
Stockman died in the crash.
Both northbound and southbound lanes on Highway 1 at Capistrano Road remained closed for about 2 hours following the collision.
