Woman Killed in Crash on Highway 269 near Coalinga Identified
Coalinga, California: 27-year-old Tiffany Boone of Vista died in a two-vehicle collision that happened early Saturday morning near Coalinga, the Fresno County Coroner’s Office said.
The crash occurred on August 10 on Highway 269 near Ford Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said a Tesla was heading west on the highway, and a truck driven by a Dinuba resident was traveling in the opposite direction.
For an unknown reason, the Tesla veered into opposite traffic and collided with the truck.
Boone was a passenger in the Tesla and died at the scene.
The driver of the Tesla sustained minor injuries.
The other driver suffered a leg injury.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
