Santa Clara, California – One person was killed in a car crash that happened on Monday afternoon in Gilroy.
The fatal collision was reported around 12:45 p.m. on Highway 25 and Bloomfield Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 48-year-old man was driving a tractor-trailer northbound on Highway 25 when he collided with a Hyundai Elantra at the intersection.
The woman driving the Hyundai was killed in the accident.
