Half Moon Bay, California – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Half Moon Bay.
The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. on Highway 1 at Coral Reef Avenue.
A woman was driving a car when, for unknown reasons, she collided with a big rig in the northbound lane of the highway.
The unidentified woman was killed in the crash.
The crash caused diesel leakage from the truck resulting in the closure of the highway to allow for cleanup.
