Hanford, California – A woman was killed in a car crash that happened on Friday morning in Hanford, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened at around 7:40 a.m. on Kansas Avenue near State Route 41.
The woman was driving a 2019 Honda eastbound on Kansas Avenue when it veered into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2020 Freightliner.
The Freightliner driver attempted to avoid a collision by steering the wheel, but they collided.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately disclosed.
