Woman Killed in Lancaster Crash at Avenue J-8 and 20th Street
Lancaster, California – A woman died in a car crash that happened on Saturday night in Lancaster.
The fatal crash happened around 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue J-8 and 20th Street East, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A woman was driving a Mitsubishi Outlander southbound on 20th Street East when she ran a red light at the intersection and collided with an Infiniti G35 traveling westbound on Avenue J-8.
A female passenger of the Infiniti was partially ejected from the vehicle and was transported to an area hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
Details on the conditions of other involved parties were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
