Tabitha Ixchop Hit and Killed by Two Cars near Seventh Street and Pepper Tree Lane in Long Beach
Woman Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident Identified
Long Beach, California: 35-year-old Tabitha Ixchop died after she was struck by two cars Wednesday morning near an intersection in Long Beach.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the incident was reported around 5:05 a.m. on Seventh Street near Pepper Tree Lane.
Police said Ixchop ran northbound across the eastbound lanes of Seventh Street outside of a marked crosswalk when she got hit by a car. She fell into one of the traffic lanes and got struck by a second vehicle.
First responders found the victim lying in the eastbound lanes. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers stopped and cooperated with investigators.
