Woman Killed in Manteca Car Crash on Highway 99 near Highway 120
Manteca, California – A driver was killed in a car accident that occurred on Sunday night in Manteca.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 99 near Highway 120 at around 9:22 p.m.
CHP says one vehicle was heading south in the far left lane of Highway 99 when it crashed into the center divider wall and stopped.
A second vehicle traveling in the same lane could not stop or go around the disabled car and crashed into it.
A 30-year-old Sacramento woman driving the first car was transported to San Joaquin General where she was pronounced dead.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
