Woman Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Hills Valley Road in Fresno
Fresno County, California: A woman died in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday afternoon in Fresno County.
The pileup was reported around 4:15 p.m. on Hills Valley Road, just north of Manning Avenue.
An initial investigation revealed that a 22-year-old woman was driving a Toyota northbound, passing other traffic when a GMC traveling southbound swerved to avoid the passing car.
The driver of the Toyota then lost control and was hit by a Dodge traveling northbound. Several other vehicles were allegedly involved in the crash.
The 22-year-old female driver of the Toyota died in the accident.
The other parties involved in the collision, including the driver of the Dodge, suffered moderate injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the factors that contributed to the accident.
