Woman Killed in Murrieta Car Crash on Whitewood Road near Clinton Keith Road
Murrieta, California – A woman died in a two-vehicle collision that left two other people injured in Murrieta on Sunday morning.
The accident happened on Whitewood Road, south of Clinton Keith Road at around 6:45 a.m., according to the Murrieta Police Department.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
Both drivers were seriously injured in the accident and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
A female passenger in one of the cars was transported to the hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
Police say speed did not appear to be a factor in the crash and there was no evidence of driver impairment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
