Woman Killed in Possible Street-Racing Crash in Pomona Identified

Pomona, California: Authorities have identified the passenger who died in a suspected street-racing crash Wednesday night in Pomona as 28-year-old Jocelyn Herrera.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that happened at around 11:59 p.m. near Holt and Clark avenues.

Police responded to the scene and found two sedans involved in the accident.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters responded and pronounced Herrera dead. She was a passenger in one of the cars.

The driver of that vehicle was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the other sedan was unhurt.
