Woman Killed in Rollover Collision on Highway 101 near Nojoqui Summit
Santa Barbara County, California: A woman died in a two-car collision that happened Sunday afternoon near Nojoqui Summit in Santa Barbara County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck took place around 1:25 p.m. on Highway 101 near Old Coast Highway south of Buellton.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, two vehicles collided, and one of them overturned onto its side and went about 300 feet over the side of the road.
SBFD firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the body of the woman driving the car that rolled over from the wreckage.
The second car remained on the roadway after the collision. A female driver was driving that car, and no one was hurt in the vehicle.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
