Sacramento, California – A woman died after being struck by a car on Wednesday night in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 10:07 p.m. on Highway 99 near Elkhorn Boulevard.
The woman reportedly exited her vehicle after it got a flat tire and was crossing the highway when she was hit by a car.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
