Police say the accident happened around 2:50 p.m. at Bosworth and Diamond streets near Glen Park.
A woman was hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
