Woman Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident of Santa Teresa Boulevard
San Jose, California – A woman died in hospital after being hit by a car last week in San Jose.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened near a shopping area on the 6200 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard at around 6 p.m. on December 18, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 2013 black Honda sedan was heading north out of a parking lot when it struck a woman.
The woman suffered major injuries and was transported to a local hospital where she died on Sunday, December 24.
The driver of the involved car stayed at the accident and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
