Shasta County, California – An elderly woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday afternoon in Shasta County.
The fatal accident was reported around 1:15 p.m. on Shasta Boulevard near McConnel Avenue.
An 88-year-old Shasta Lake woman was trying to cross the road when a westbound Cadillac sedan hit her.
The elderly woman was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
