According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at South Baltimore Road and South Palouse Highway.
A car is reported to have struck a female pedestrian in the area in unclear circumstances.
Spokane County Fire District 8 attempted to save the woman’s life, but she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
