Woman Killed in Torrance Car Accident at Anza Avenue and Torrance Boulevard
Torrance, California – A woman was killed in a car accident that happened in Torrance on Friday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of Anza Avenue and Torrance Boulevard at about 3:50 p.m., according to the Torrance Police Department.
A 24-year-old man was driving a 2020 Dodge Charger when he collided with a 2003 Toyota Echo driven by the 89-year-old woman.
The woman was ejected from the car and was transported to the hospital where she died.
The driver of the Charger was unhurt.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected as factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
