Woman Killed, Man Critically Injured in Spokane Pedestrian Crash
Spokane, Washington: A woman died, and a man was hospitalized in critical condition after they were struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Spokane.
Police said the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. at South Maple Street and West Fourth Avenue.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a man and a woman in the roadway with critical injuries after they were hit by a car.
The victims were rushed to an area hospital, where the woman died from her injuries. The man remained in critical condition.
The driver involved stopped and cooperated with investigators.
