San Jose, California (April 26, 2023) – A woman has succumbed to injuries weeks after a pedestrian accident in San Jose, according to a police report.
The accident happened on April 9 on 11th and E Santa Clara streets.
Police said the female pedestrian was walking in a crosswalk in the area when she was hit by a 2017 Toyota Camry turning onto East Santa Clara Street from North 11th Street.
The woman was transported to the hospital, where she died from her injuries on Monday, April 24.
Her name was not immediately released, awaiting notification of family.
An investigation is ongoing.
