Woman Suffers Moderate Injuries in Chico Car Accident
Chico, California: Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday night at an intersection in Chico.
According to the California Highway Patrol Chico Area, the crash was reported around 9 p.m. at Garner Lane and Kathy Lane.
Authorities said a woman was driving a red Honda Civic in the area without the headlights on when she collided with a black GMC heading northbound on Garner Lane.
Both vehicles spun out after the impact. The Civic came to a stop on a lawn, and the GMC crashed into a fence.
The woman was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The two occupants in the GMC were also hospitalized as a precaution.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
