Worker Dies After Forklift Topples in Bel Air
Los Angeles, California: A worker died after being trapped underneath a toppled forklift Monday afternoon in Bel Air, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The incident was reported around 1 p.m. in the 900 block of N. Moraga Drive.
Authorities said a man was operating a forklift carrying steel rebar when the forklift toppled over and trapped him underneath.
Firefighters responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police officers and Cal-OSHA officials are investigating the accident.
