Zachary Henn Killed in Placentia Crash at Yorba Linda Blvd and Valencia Avenue

Placentia, California – Zachary Blake Henn, 17, of Yorba Linda has been identified as the El Dorado High School student who was killed in a car crash on Tuesday morning in Placentia.

According to the Orange County Coroner-Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened at around 8:20 a.m. at Yorba Linda Boulevard and Valencia Avenue near the campus.

Henn was driving to school when he collided with another vehicle.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the crash and found Henn trapped inside the car, freed him and rushed him to hospital.

Sadly, Henn succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

A juvenile passenger in Henn’s car was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Three occupants of the second vehicle, a 39-year-old woman, a boy and a girl, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized.

More details about the accident were not provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
