Sierra Vista, Arizona (September 13, 2023) – The Sierra Vista Police Department has identified Zachary Teller, 17, as the boy killed in a pedestrian accident on Saturday night in Sierra Vista.
The collision occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on September 9 at Highway 90 and Industry Drive.
Police confirmed Teller was walking in the middle of the lanes and was close to the shoulder when a vehicle hit him.
According to witnesses’ reports, the involved motorist attempted to avoid the crash by swerving their car.
Teller suffered fatal injuries due to the crash.
The involved driver remained at the crash site and was cooperative. Police did not suspect the motorist to have been intoxicated during the accident.

Menifee, California – One driver died following a semi-truck accident on Wednesday night in Menifee.
According to the Menifee Police Department, the crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. on October 9.
Police confirmed a pickup truck and semi-truck collided for unknown reasons.
The pickup driver was transported to the hospital where he died.
No one else was injured in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.

Los Angeles, California – Eight persons sustained injuries after a vehicle slammed into a coffee shop on Thursday afternoon in Tarzana, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The collision occurred in the 18660 block of W. Ventura Boulevard at Yolanda Avenue.
Police said a vehicle collided into the coffee shop for unknown reasons.
The LAFD’s Urban and Search Rescue crew responded to the crash site. Seven persons were treated for minor injuries due to the collision.
The female driver, 60 years, also sustained minor injuries due to the accident.
