Tacoma, Washington – At least six people were killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened in Tacoma on Sunday morning.

The crash happened on Highway 509 at Alexander Avenue at around 11:19 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.

A white SUV was traveling northbound on SR 509 and collided with a gray passenger car driving southbound on Alexander Avenue.

Authorities say there were seven people inside the passenger car at the time of the accident.

Six people in the passenger car were killed in the accident.

Two people who were inside the SUV and an occupant of the passenger car were hospitalized in critical condition.

The Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the cause of the accident.

Merced, California – Two people and a child were killed in a car crash that happened in Merced County on Friday night.

The fatal collision happened at around 11 p.m. in the area of Highway 140 and Kniebes Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

40-year-old Robert Pimentel was driving a Ford Explorer eastbound on Highway 140 when he lost control and collided head-on with a Ford Expedition with seven occupants.

Authorities say 67-year-old Nicholas Leyva, 69-year-old Maria Leyva and three-month-old Celeste Leyva, were killed in the accident.

Favior Warner Identified as Person Killed in Lockeford Crash on Highway 88

Lockeford, California (September 8, 2023) – The San Joaquin County Coroner and Medical Examiner office has identified 21-year-old Favior Warner of Sacramento as the person killed in a crash last week Saturday near Lockeford.

The deadly crash happened at around 7:00 p.m. on September 2 on Highway 88, just west of Disch Road.

Police confirmed the driver of a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Highway 88 when they didn’t slow down and crashed into Warner’s 2022 Chevrolet Silverado that was heading westbound.

The impact of the collision sent the Honda into the opposite lane, crashing into a westbound 2022 Chevrolet Silverado.

Warner died due to the crash.

No other information concerning this accident was provided.
