Halo might hit the screens on March 24

Halo is one of the most successful science-fiction video game franchises of all time, and an Indian television series based on the game will premiere in March on Voot Select. The live-action TV program, which recreates the universe of Halo while giving fans a good look at the Covenant, has been granted a trailer by US network Paramount+ ahead of its release.

Pablo Schreiber (13 Hours, Orange is the New Black) stars as the renowned Master Chief, and the cast also includes Jen Taylor (Halo 2, Halo 3), Shabana Azmi (Fire, Neerja), and Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo, Spider-Man: Homecoming). The game’s adaption, first released in 2001, hit theatres on March 24. Master Chief and his Silver Team are lookouts for a method to bring the Covenant War to a close.

In a two-minute trailer released by Paramount+ on Monday, fans get a good look at Master Chief’s armor, as well as a lot of amazing effects and action-packed fight scenes. It’s also worth noting that the program doesn’t quite follow the game – Master Chief, for example, has Spartan ‘Silver Team’ members rather than Blue Team members. While Pablo Schreiber reprises his role as Master Chief, Jen Taylor reprises her role as Cortana, which she previously voiced in the games.

Another intriguing decision by the designers appears to be how the fabled Halo ring gets discovered – rather than by accident. Master Chief looks to seek it in the teaser, while the game also has a human ally of the Covenant.

The Insurrection (the Spartans’ original foes) get shown in the trailer. But their significance in the tale gets not revealed. Halo got first published on the Xbox in 2001 and got ported to the PC and Mac in 2003.

The first trailer for the new Halo TV series place before Halo Infinite – while the Covenant conflict is still raging — was released in November by Paramount+. Dr. Catherine Halsey, played by Natascha McElhone (Solaris, The Truman Show), the war criminal who helped create the super soldiers from the game series, will be featured.
