Kevin Cerv Killed in Vista Bicycle Accident at Oceanside Ranch Blvd and Corporate Center Dr.

Vista, California – Kevin Cerv, 56, has been identified as the man who died in a bicycle accident that happened last month in Oceanside.

The fatal bicycle accident happened in the area of Oceanside Ranch Boulevard and Corporate Center Drive at around 3:51 a.m. April 9.

The Oceanside man was riding an electric bike when he collided with a gray Honda sedan.

Cerv suffered major injuries and was taken to Palomar Medical Center Emergency Department. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries on May 3.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.

El Cajon, California: Three people were hospitalized after a car flew off the eastbound 8 Freeway after a rear-end collision Monday night in El Cajon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a car rear-ended another vehicle near the Mollison Avenue on-ramp and caused one of them to lose control, go down a slope, and land upside down in the backyard of Ednabelle Court.

Three occupants in the overturned car were taken to a local hospital with moderate to severe but non-life-threatening injuries.

The occupants of the other vehicle were not hurt.

Investigators believe high speed was a contributing factor.

Authorities closed the on-ramp from Mollison Avenue to the eastbound 8 Freeway following the crash.

Los Angeles, California: A 12-year-old girl died, and 9 others were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday evening near Watts.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident occurred around 6:20 p.m. near 630 East Century Boulevard.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Firefighters responded to the scene and pronounced the girl dead at the scene.

A female driver of one of the cars was extricated and transported to a hospital in moderate to serious condition.

The other occupants of the vehicles, including five adults and three juveniles, were able to get out of the cars. The juveniles were hospitalized in moderate condition, and the adults in fair condition.

Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the collision.
