Lynnette Aguilar Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident at Centralia Street and Bellflower Boulevard
Long Beach, California – 52-year-old Lynnette Aguilar of Long Beach died after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Long Beach on Wednesday evening.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the accident occurred around 6:35 p.m. at Centralia Street and Bellflower Boulevard.
Aguilar was walking across Bellflower Boulevard when she was hit by a 2014 Jeep Patriot traveling north.
Fire department crew responded to the crash and provided medical assistance to Aguilar who sadly succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 65-year-old Lakewood resident, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is underway.

Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
