Bicyclist Fatally Hit by Vehicle on SR-74 in Colfax
Colfax, California: A cyclist died after being hit by a vehicle early Thursday morning in Colfax, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 1:52 a.m. in the 25281 block of State Route 174.
CHP said the bicyclist was struck by a gold Chevrolet under unclear circumstances.
The rider sustained serious injuries and later died while receiving treatment.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.

The driver of the car stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
